The Associazione Culturale della Scuola dei Difensori Tributari (association of the school of tax defence experts) brings together professionals (mainly lawyers, chartered accountants and accountancy experts) from all over Italy who are passionate about and specialize (or are looking to specialize) in tax litigation. The idea of founding the association was conceived in 2005 among the participants in the first two editions of the Course in Tax Defence, a part-time specialization course organized by Ipsoa and headed by Prof. Cesare Glendi, who is the driving force, inspiration, and Honorary President of the Association. The Association aims to give its members opportunities to continue their study of the discipline, examining in greater depth and perfecting the defence techniques they learned during the course, in order to apply them in their daily professional life. This is made possible on one hand thanks to the organization of high-quality training, study and OPD seminars, on topics and with speakers carefully selected by the members themselves; on the other, by ongoing discussion, professional collaboration and sharing of case studies among members.
